We have designed online web tutorials for several of our major functions within the Division of Financial Affairs. These self-paced tutorials can be used to introduce staff members to Cornell accounting tools and topics or they can be used as a refresher after taking a course in a particular topic.


WBT 100:

ADW 2001
For:
Staff members who will be working with accounting information and looking up information in ADW using Brio. This is particularly useful as an introduction to this topic prior to training or as a refresher after training. Hands-on training is still required for this topic (see class ADW 101 for details).

For:
Staff members who will be working with and looking up information using Brio. This is particularly useful as an introduction to this topic prior to training or as a refresher after training. This may also be useful for current Brio users who want to learn more about ad hoc capabilities of Brio. Hands-on training may be required for specific topics.

The Journal Entry Management System (JEMS) Online Tutorial
For:
Staff members responsible for processing accounting journals and those who will be using JEMS. This is the only training provided for this topic.

Description:
This tutorial will walk you through an introduction to JEMS terms and concepts, and outline how to work as a journal preparer, work as a journal approver, and review previously entered journals in the search tab.

The Web-Req Project Online Tutorials
For:
Staff members responsible for processing purchasing information and those who will be using Webforms and Web-Reqs. This is the only training provided for this topic.

This tutorial will provide a detailed look into the Web-Req project and all of the elements for Webforms and Web-Requisitions.
